I can do custom spinning of your fiber. If you have a special dog that has wonderfully
soft hair that is an inch or longer, I will spin it into yarn for you so you can make
something special from it. If it's pretty clean, not full of twigs and grass, etc, I charge
$8.00 an ounce. Once it's spun into yarn, I wash it and soak it in a vinegar rinse to get
rid of the "doggy" smell. Dog hair actually makes some pretty nice yarn! It's warm,
and fairly soft. The yarn won't be as soft as the loose hair, but it's still nice.
I can also blend it with some cream colored cashmere for a little extra softness. That
will add $6.00 per ounce to the price.
