PINE NEEDLE FARM CASHMERES
FIBER CSA
I am now offering shares in the fiber from my herd of wonderful cashmere
goats!  They are well-fed and happy, raised naturally with no chemicals
used, no vaccines given, just herbs and vitamins to support a healthy
immune system, and to create really soft cashmere!
By purchasing a share, you will be helping to support a local farm, plus
receive some of the finest fiber known to mankind, Cashmere!
Wonderful, luxurious, lightweight, it is some of the warmest, softest,
next-to-the-skin comfort around.

For each share you will receive a
minimum of 6 ounces, depending on
how many shares are sold, of either cloud for spinning, or yarn
handspun by me in a lace or fingering weight, your choice.  Each skein
will be 1 ounce, with the yardage varying a little in each skein, although
not by much.

The February shares are gone now.  If you would like a share in July,
either spinner's or yarn, please let me know by April 6th.  Thank-you!

For each share you will receive the fiber in it's natural colors, and a
picture and the names of the goats it came off of.

There will be two main colors, cream and a gray/brown.  There is more
of the cream color.
There are various shades of the gray/brown, from
very light, to dark.  I'll have pictures up soon of the colors.  Now that I am
dehairing each goat fleece individually, each one has a bit of a different
hue.
You choose if you want all of one color, or mix and match, with 4 oz
of cream and 2oz of the darker color.

This cashmere is 100% grown and processed here on the farm, on the
side of a mountain in Northwest Montana.  Using organic methods to
clean and process the fiber, you get a completely natural product, free
from harsh chemicals that harm you and the environment.

You will also receive two bars of goat milk soap, made here on the farm
with the milk from our four dairy goats.  I use only top quality saponified
organic oils of Olive, Coconut, and Avocado. They are 3oz bars in either
lavender, or milk and honey.

Each spinners share is $100.00
Each handspun yarn share is $160.00
If you would like to enjoy a share of luxurious cashmere from a herd of well-fed
happy goats, please contact me at ann@pnfcashmeres.com, and let me know
which share you would like, which color, and also which
scent of soap.
I will accept payment through PayPal, or by check or money order.  If
paying through paypal, my account is ann@pnfcashmeres.com.
Thank-you!
As you can see by these ribbons, I'm a pretty decent spinner, so your yarn will be fun
to work with.  I can dye it for you for an extra $5 per skein, if you would like.  Or, you
can have the fun and excitement of dyeing it yourself.  It is fun to see what it actually
looks like when it's all dry and ready to go.  Of course, the natural colors are great too!
Here is what one customer has said about the CSA spinner's share:

I found Pine Needle Cashmere Farm when I was looking for a source of cashmere
for spinning.  As I like to buy from small producers, I was delighted to find Pine
Needle.  I got my first order, did some solar dyeing and then started spinning.  It
felt like I was spinning from a cloud!  The fiber was so light and fluffy.  I was also
impressed with how clean it was.  I have bought fiber in the past that needed a
good cleaning before you could spin it.  Not with this fiber.  Ann does an
exceptional job of cleaning the fiber.  I like to purchase CSA shares as it is a fun
way to get fibers and help small producers.  When I learned I could purchase a
share from Pine Needle I did so.  Just got a box that had several bags of fiber
wanting to pop out.  I am really pleased with the amount of fiber I got through the
CSA share and the different colors of the fibers.  I also enjoyed knowing which of
the wonderful creatures this fiber came from.  As an added bonus there is some
yummy smelling goat milk soap included.  I would highly recommend purchasing a
share.
